We don’t see Carrie Underwood involved in racy scandals like so many young female singers (Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears).

In an interview, Underwood said,

I take it very seriously, and my motto is I would never want to do anything that would embarrass my own children, in the future. And I think thats the best way to look at things.

She also goes on to say,

I never want to do anything that would make my parents, you know, my role models, disappointed in me.

It’s great to see a young famous female singer take her actions so seriously so she can be a good role model for young people these days.

(HMG) – Despite the murmurs of potential domestic abuse charges against Tiger Woods’ wife Elin, it looks the investigation is officially over. The Florida Highway Patrol said during a news conference Tuesday, that Tiger Woods received a traffic citation for careless driving after crashing his SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree outside his house early Friday, but it had no evidence to pursue any criminal charges.

“With the issuance of this citation, the Florida Highway Patrol has concluded the investigation,” FHP troop commander Cindy Williams said without taking any questions.

The ticket will set him back $164 and four points on his Florida license. Supporting the polices decision, Tiger Woodss neighbors Jerome and Linda Adams, who rushed out of their house to help him and called 911, speaking through their lawyer, said that the golf stars injuries appeared consistent with a minor car crash and not an altercation with his wife.

The lawyer said the Adamses ran out to see what happened after hearing the crash and found Woods lying on the ground being helped by his wife, Elin, who urged them to call 911. He said they saw scratches on Woodss face, but did not suspect they were caused by anything other than the accident.

The scratches on the face were consistent with somebody in a minor car accident, Sharpe said. None of his injuries looked like he was beat up by his wife.

With the police investigation now over, and his withdrawal from his own golf tournament Monday citing injuries from the crash, I expect Tiger to be laying low for a while. But with the emergence of a second woman claiming to have had an affair with the golf star this story looks to far from over, sad to say.

Actress Kelly Hu is one lucky girl! She just landed a guest role on the CW’s ‘The Vampire Diaries’! She’ll be co-starring alongside Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley.

It’s been reported that Kelly will be appearing in flashbacks as an apothecary named Pearl. We’ll first see her character on the January 28th episode.

Kelly tweeted about being in Atlanta for filming:

“1st time in Atlanta 2 shoot Vampire Diaries. Thot I was going to get mugged on the way home from Whole Foods. That’s ok, I know karate.”

Scary! Glad she’s alright!

I thought it was just last week for Thanksgiving but then I read it was on break until January 14th! BUT good news for those of you who are dying to see what all of the (Damon) fuss is about – starting December 14th, they are replaying all 10 episodes, two episodes each night for the whole week! I won’t even post the main pic of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ alum Joanna Krupa’s new PETA ad. Oh my goodness!! Recently, she led a PETA protest outside Barkworks, a Los Angeles pet store that irresponsibly sells puppies even though hundreds of puppies and dogs remain homeless in city animal shelters. At the protest, Krupa also unveiled her racy new ad campaign for PETA.

Titled “Be an Angel for Animals,” the campaign features an image of Krupa posing inside a cathedral wearing a pair of angel wings and covered only by a well-placed cross. The campaign supports PETA’s efforts to promote the adoption of homeless animals.

“You know, we’re trying to spread the word that breeding isn’t the way to go,” says Krupa in an exclusive PETA interview. “Somebody needs to put their foot down and stop this breeding and these puppy mills. [T]hey’re in these little tiny cages, and all they’re doing is breeding their whole life. It makes me so angry that our government doesn’t do anything about it. So I am!”

(HMG) – Now don’t get too excited, Twihards, this has nothing to do with a new book. But the final film ‘Breaking Dawn’ may be split into two films to end the franchise.

It is a popular move for breakthrough series. Warner Bros. have chosen to do it with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and now Summit might be going the same way.

But there are a few problems keeping it from being a done deal.

First off all, it is crazy expensive to suddenly throw another movie into the mix. Just securing the lead actors, who have become international sensations, will be difficult and come with a heavy price tag.

Then you have budgets for production and staff, which will be well into the millions, and supporting cast that will hopefully remain true to the original roles.

Next, you have the problem of securing the director for another movie when it was only supposed to be one.

Chris Weitz is already set to direct a film outside of the Twilight series, and he has been speaking eagerly about getting started. A smaller script, the new flick is a film called ‘The Gardener’ with Paul Witt and Christian McLaughlin producing.

If the finale becomes a two-parter, they will have to be shot back to back. This means more time away from his pet project.

There are a lot of obstacles, but chances are Summit will take the leap. After all, the movies so far, especially ‘New Moon’, have had an enormous payoff, and the finale will probably have an even bigger one.

Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen

(HMG) – Taylor Momsen, 16, and Leighton Meester, 23, who play rivals on ‘Gossip Girl,’ may have a bit of a feud breaking out over their rivaling music that is causing some tension on set, according to a source that tattled to Hollywood Life.

Apparently Taylor, is upset that ‘Gossip Girl’ has used two songs from Leighton’s new album slated to debut in early 2010, and debuted her music video for ‘Somebody to Love’.

Taylor herself is with a punk band called The Pretty Reckless, and has a solo album dropping in 2010, and would like to see her music played too on the show, which would certainly help record sales.

WB has released a statement saying that they will support her music “when the time is right, but her music is not ready yet.

Perhaps an awkward situation for the network on two counts. The mention of ‘not ready yet’, might be a subtle way of saying the songs are not ready for prime-time yet or worse, just not very good. Then there is Leightons pop music perhaps fitting the theme of Gossip Girl more so than Taylors punk rock songs.

According to the AP, Alicia Keys’ first visit to Africa was so emotional that she wants to take 5 people to Africa with her so they can experience what she experienced. Keys said,

“I was able to see the great separation between have and have not.”

The contest will be through her charity, Keep a Child Alive. Fans can enter the contest online at the foundation’s website. The winners will travel through Africa with Keys for five days next year.
