A man dressed in a Santa suit in Sparta, Wisconsin was a passenger in a vehicle with a man accused of driving drunk before stopping to approach some children and ask where his reindeer were!

The driver ended up being arrested for drunk driving and the “Santily-clad” man was released at the scene after being issued a ticket for having an open intoxicant in the car.

The poor kids sound so scared!

But a pretty lucky break for “Santa!”

[HMG] – Compounding belief that their break-up is real, New York Yankees star hitter, Alex Rodriguez was spied in Miami this weekend, surrounded by girls who seemed keen to erase the pain of his split with Kate Hudson.

Spies tell Page Six the 34-year old ball player was “acting like a single man,” and partying with two young girls at the W Hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach late Friday. The following night, A-Rod was said to be focused on a [currently un-named] blond at the ‘Armani Exchange Sunglass’ dinner at The Delano on South Beach.

“A-Rod didn’t eat a thing because he was focused on this cute blonde…who looked a bit like Kate, says an insider. He literally didn’t take his eyes off her. The group then went to the Fontainebleau, where he still focused on her, but told other girls, ‘I’m definitely single.’ But he left with his old pal, Ingrid Casares.

Meantime, A-Rod’s ‘ex’ lady, Kate Hudson was happily involved in an event of her own On Monday she could be found breaking bread with Harvey Weinstein and her fellow cast of the new movie, ‘Nine’ at the ‘Per Se’ restaurant just off Central Park. Kate was happy, but tight-lipped on the split. Those around her, however, were happy to share;

“They’ve definitely broken up, said one source. There’s been drama before about his roving eye, but this isn’t the first time they’ve split up and got back together.”

And a split seems sadly confirmed by Kate’s weekend schedule; Instead of joining Alex in Florida she stayed in New York. On Saturday she was seen dining with her son, Ryder, and joined friends for brunch in Carroll Gardens on Sunday.

The former pair have not been seen in public together since the London premiere of “Nine” on December 3rd. That’s almost two weeks. If they’re planning a reunion, they’re sure taking their time….

And while many reports claim that a jealous Rodriguez smothered Hudson, 30, the friend suggests the opposite was the case, observing, She seemed compelled to track and follow his every move during his busy pre- and post-season schedule.

Ultimately, the pal says that Hudson tried to give Rodriguez an ultimatum and to fast track the relationship. Hes just coming off of a 13-year relationship with his ex-wife and a recent divorce, the friend points out. He has two lovely children with his ex-wife, and that requires a certain amount of responsibility. She gave him ultimatums that a newly divorced father cant meet.

Bad news for twin gay pornstars and thieves, Taleon and Keyontyli Goffney.

The two were arrested in South Philadelphia back in 2008 for a series of burglaries.

Most notably, they broke into a convenience store by cutting a hole in the roof and climbing down from a rope and getting away with money and several goods.

They were also thought to be involved in at least 35 other burglaries throughout the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

But now, Taleon, also known as Spider-Man, has been sentenced to three years in prison for his burglaries in New Jersey!

The 27-year-old is currently serving time in Pennsylvania.

And for his twin brother, and co-star in his gay porn videos, Keyontyli is free after being sentenced in September to time served in NJ.

Time to get a real job now Key!

Sources are saying that Rick Springfield (you may know him as that guy who sings Jessie’s Girl) is writing a “extremely candid” memoir.

The book will be titled Late, Late at Night, and delve into Springfield’s long battle with depression.

If you are really interested, it is scheduled to come out October 2010.

Maybe if Rick followed this regiment, he wouldn’t have had such a problem with depression.

Sources tell us that Island Def Jam has stopped ALL promotion Mariah Carey’s latest album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, including the new single H.A.T.E.U.

Instead, remix albums will be issued in February with one featuring pop and hip-hop remixes of all the songs on Memoirs including 4 brand new songs. The other album will be Electro-Pop remixes done by the Jump Smokers.

The first remix released will be a reworked version of the lovely Angels Cry, featuring Ne-Yo and is expected to hit radio around January 4th.

The remix albums sound pretty gimmicky to us, but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!

Good thing hubby Nick Cannon is bringing home the bacon!

The first trailer for the upcoming film, Robin Hood, hit the ‘net today. The movie stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Danny Huston (The Constant Gardener) and more.

The story of an archer in the army of Richard Coeur de Lion who fights against the Norman invaders and becomes the legendary hero known as Robin Hood.

‘Real Houswives of New York’ star, Bethenny Frankel, headed to Times Square in NYC today for the unveiling of her new PETA “Fur: I’d Rather Go Naked” billboard. Photos are in the thumbnail gallery below.

Bethenny shared what changed her thinking about wearing fur:

“I used to wear fur. I went to a cocktail party, walked outside on Fifth Avenue, and a PETA protestor was holding up a skinned animal. I looked at it, and it made me sick. I felt disgusting. That day was a huge change, and since then I’ve really been against fur. I’m cleaning out my closetstrim, everything. I don’t see any reason for cruelty.”

What do you think about the ad? Can you imagine having that photo of yourself as a huge billboard in Times Square? I don’t know if I would’ve recognized that as Bethenny if she hadn’t been posing with it – and the fact that her name is on it.
