As we previously reported, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi had a few choice words for the companies that pulled their advertising from her hit MTV show, Jersey Shore.

And surprisingly enough, Domino’s actually addressed her comments!

“Our first response was, ‘What a classy young ladyher parents must be so proud,’” said a rep for the pizza company. “There’s no need to get into a war with this young girl, because ticktock, her 15 minutes are almost up.”

LOLs!

“We have no issue with MTV or the programming it airs. Just like viewers have a choice of what they want to watch, advertisers have a choice on what shows they want to advertise,” the rep continued. “We didn’t pull a penny from MTV. We love what they do. We never made any critical commentary. It was a 30-second call, and MTV said, ‘OK,’ and that was it.”

Lately Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has been photographed almost every single day leaving her apartment in NYC to go to work on ‘Chicago’. I guess she likes to stay busy? I can’t imagine working this hard and then still having to do Christmas and New Years. Talk about STRESS!

On another note, I am loving this new hair color for Ashlee but I still love her as a red head. Also, what do you think of her outfit? I think it’s cute!

This year Usher brought in the new year while relaxing on the coast of St Barts in the Caribbean. It must be nice to catch a break after a year of hard work! Usher recently talked about what it’s like to perform in New York City.

If you can win over the crowd in New York City, you can do it anywhere, and that’s the truth. The New York crowd is very hard to please, but if you’ve got them, they’ll stick with you. Of course, if you flinch for a moment, if you’re timid, they’ll boo you off the stage. Luckily, I’ve never been booed in my life. I’ve had a bad concert, but I’ve never been booed unless it was karaoke.

I can’t even IMAGINE what it would be like to be in front of a crowd in NYC. Talk about nerves!

Leighton Meester strutted her stuff last night at The Underground in Chicago where she performed one of her songs.

What do you think of this lacy top paired with the baggy trousers? Would you wear something like this? Before hoping on stage to perform, Leighton changed into a tank top and a pair of jeans, which I bet was much more comfortable!

As you can guess, it isn’t taking the narcissism down a notch!

Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter on Thursday to offer this bikini pic with the caption, “Peace and Love Mates” and promised some “positive-LOHAN MAYHEM!!!!!!!!” in the year to come.

She revealed her New Year’s resolution as well!

She tweeted:

To answer everybody’s question…My new years resolution is to stop letting the lucky few that have my heart, try2constantly tear me down.

2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habbits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!?

We like where her head is at, but we have our doubts!

Although it seems like an odd combination, Elton John has been key in helping Eminem recover from his addiction to prescription drugs.

“I’ve been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he’s doing brilliantly,” said Elton, who has his own issues with substance abuse.

The rapper had his first stint in rehab in 2005, in which he almost overdosed on methadone. It didn’t stick and by May of 2009, he developed a habit that led him to taking nearly 20 Vicodin, Ambien and Valium a day.

“I’m there if people want my help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there’s no point advising people if they don’t want to do it,” continued John.

We hope Em wants it! It’s about time he cleaned up act!

After the domestic abuse allegations against their poppa, Charlie Sheen, lil’ 10-month-old Bob and Max will be staying with their momma, Brooke Mueller, for the time being. Child welfare officials approved that they reside in Aspen for the month with their non-violent parental unit.

“The people from the social services agency talked to Brooke, her mom, her step dad and her nanny, and told them that everything looks good and Brooke appears to be an excellent mother,” claims a source close to Mueller. “Brooke and the twins, Max and Bob, are planning to stay in their rented Aspen house for at least another month. After that they may go to Palm Beach to visit family for awhile.”

Due to scheduling conflicts, the court date to settle Brooke and Charlie’s domestic dispute has been pushed back from Monday to later in the month.

Ha! We can’t imagine giving Charlie even partial custody of those kiddies!

(HMG) – Seattle grunge era band, Soundgarden, who have not played live together since 1997, say they will be reuniting for concerts in 2010.

Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell took to his Twitter to announce the big news, saying:

The 12 year break is over & school is back in session. Sign up now. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!” and included the link to their new site.

Besides Cornell, the Soundgarden lineup will include guitarist Kim Thayil, bassist Ben Shepherd and drummer Matt Cameron, according to Billboard magazine.

Because Cameron has a commitment to play with Pearl Jam through the spring and summer of 2010, dates and places are still in the works, but a performance at the Coachella Music Festival, is rumored.

Soundgarden originally formed in 1984. Since 1997, Cornell has released three solo albums and three more with Audioslave, which he split from in 2007.
