Quote of The Day

There is a natural aristocracy among men. The grounds of this are virtue and talents.

Stephanie Pratt looked like she was cooking up something good when she launched her very own flavored milkshake at Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood. She named her shake “Steph’s Slumber Party”. So, I’m not sure if this means the taste is so boring that it will put you to sleep, or it tastes better when you have a bunch of your girlfriends over and you’re all in PJs. LOL! Either way I’d like to make my own milkshake some day! Sounds like fun : )

This could change things!

A new study by the Election Defense Alliance is reporting that the vote on Prop 8 back in November 2008 was “possibly corrupted.”

Apparently there was a huge discrepancy between the exits polls and official results at 19 precincts in Los Angeles County that ultimately voted in favor of the gay marriage ban. EDA co-founders Sally Castleman and Jonathan Simon explain on their website:

“Deviations between exit polls and official results far outside margins of error cannot be explained away by demographics or polling factors. The facts established in these reports cannot responsibly be dismissed or evaded.

“It is beyond the scope of this study to know if any corruption was due to honest error or intentional fraud. Further investigation is warranted.”

Investigate away!

After one year of wedded bliss Fergie and her husband Josh Duhamel decided to renew their vows with only a minister present, close to Santa Barbara around January 6th.

Fergie was crying and seemed very emotional, during the ceremony, which lasted under fifteen minutes. They were both dressed nicely and walked right out to the bluff outside the hotel where weddings often take place. A minister was waiting for them, the witness reveals to Radar Online.

I am SO happy that those infidelity rumors didn’t break this couple up! Fergie really seems like she’s happy now and after having a rough life for a period of time, I think she deserves some happiness.

Back in December Lindsay Lohan went to visit India to learn more about human trafficking and the problems throughout the country. During her time there Lindsay allowed camera from BBC to follow her and document the journey. BBC just released a trailer as a preview to an upcoming documentary they put together called Lindsay Lohan In India.

“As her trip draws to an end,” a BBC press release says, “Lindsay questions whether the increasing demand for domestic help and consumer goods by India’s wealthy, coupled with the increasing poverty in rural India, , means there is any solution to this abominable trade.”

Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan spoke to the press about what her daughter did and how proud of her she is.

“It was an amazing, life-changing experience for her,” Lindsay’s mom, Dina, told PEOPLE on Saturday. “I’m so proud of Lindsay, that under all the scrutiny the tabloids put her under, she is a very strong, caring, talented girl who ignores all the negative, and continues to move forward in a positive direction. I am so proud of her.”

Do you think this trip to India could possibly be a turning point for Lindsay?

150px-Davey_&_Goliath Art Clokey Creator of Classic Childrens Television Shows has Died(HMG) – Oh Davey! Art Clokey, creator of the classic children’s television show Gumby, has died this morning at the age of 89. Art died in his sleep Friday at his home in Los Osos, Calif., at the age of 88, after battling repeated bladder infections, according to his son Joseph. 1960s, Clokey also created and produced the 1960’s Christian TV series “Davey and Goliath” and has credits for several feature films.

After finishing film school at USC, Art and his wife, Ruth, invented Gumby in the early 1950s using stop-motion claymation. Gumby, the slender, green clay character partly modeled after Clokeys father, which made its debut on the Howdy Doody show in 1956, was a fixture on television through the decades, starting with an appearance.

Clokey’s 1953 experimental film, “Gumbasia,” (video below) used stop-motion clay animation set to a lively jazz tempo. It became the inspiration for the subsequent Gumby TV show when Sam Engel, the president of 20th Century Fox and father of one of Clokey’s students, saw the film and asked Clokey to produce a children’s television show based on the idea.

Clokey is survived by his son, Joe, who is also an animator. Rest in peace Art!

Yesterday’s PTCT was nearly a landslide! Today’s, on the other hand, will be a little more of a challenge!

Wouldn’t that be a kick in the ass to NBC???

Since things don’t seem to be working over at Team Jay NBC for poor Conan O’Brien, he may be moving his act to a new network – and FOX may be all to happy to take him!

A source over at FOX played it coy when asked about Conan joining the payroll, suggesting that the network is “always interested in late night” and are always “looking to bring great talent to FOX.” The thing is, until NBC gives him the official boot, Conan is still under contract, so the insider at FOX say the execs will “just have to see” what happens.

Sounds like an invitation to us Conan!

Why stay with people who clearly have no consideration for your talent and contribution to their network?!

It has been reported that Beyonce’s New Year’s Eve performance, in which she was paid $2 million, was hosted by known terrorist supporters, the Gaddafi family.

In order to refute the rumors, her camp put out an official statement on Beyowulf’s website.

It reads:

The party in St. Barts on New Years Eve, with Beyonc in performance, was hosted by Muatsim-Billah Gaddafi, not his brother Moutassim Bilal Hannibal Gaddafi, as reported in the press.

Her agents and management firm made the decision to confirm the private performance. The annual party had a long history of booking internationally known artists both American and foreign for events around the world, including Cannes.

Past performers in St. Barts have included Timbaland, Enrique Iglesias and Mariah Carey. Guests at this years party included singer Usher, former BET CEO Bob Johnson, actress Lindsay Lohan and music industry vets, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles and L.A. Reid.

Inneresting. Do terrorists apples really fall far from the tree?!
