Italy Protests Avatar!
![]()
The Vatican didn’t love it, why should any of the country???
Moviegoers in Italy are pissed because James Cameron’s mega-hit, Avatar, was given an “unrestricted access rating”, meaning anyone could go and see it – even little kids.
It certainly isn’t a G-rated flick here!
Now, several groups, including Italian children’s advocacy organization AGE and parent’s group Moige, are protesting to have the film’s rating increased to exclude young eyes from seeing the flick without their parents.
Furthermore, the debate over Avatar’s rating in Italy has sparked an inquiry into changing the entire ratings system to reflect Americas.
Well, if you are all going to overreact like this, then maybe it should!
And The Winners Are….

Joe Jonas Is Happy With Being Single
After dating beauties like Camilla Belle and Taylor Swift, Joe Jonas is just happy with being single!
“This is the longest I’ve ever been single actually. I love it. I still date and things like that but just not committed, which is nice.”
It’s been eight months since Joe’s last relationship and now he’s setting his sights on acting.
“I love to make people laugh. If I can make people laugh, then I feel good,” says Joe, who is currently reading scripts. “For me, acting is something you’re able to be eclectic. That’s something that I would really like to be a part of.”
Did anyone see ‘Camp Rock’? Judging from that film, do you think that Joe, or any of the other brothers, have a future for acting?

Lady Gaga plans Susan Boyle duet
[HMG] – Despite a somewhat unfair reputation for being introverted and stuffy, even the Brits can have their wild moments. And if Lady Gaga’s plans for next month’s Brit Awards come to pass, it could be one fine example:
She wants a duet with their overnight star, Susan Boyle.
The 23-year old New York-born diva is reportedly so obsessed with this odd Scottish songbird, she wants them to perform a duet at the show.
Lady GaGa is being lined up to headline the show. And she could be up for three awards, so she’s planning a killer performance, a source tells Ok. But when she heard Susan was also in talks, Lady G made it her mission for them to perform together.
Last year’s Brit Awards saw Gaga singing with ‘Lifetime Achievement’ winners, The Pet Shop Boys while dressed as a teapot. So who knows what she’s got planned for this gig??
Gaga likes to shock, says the snitch. And she knows a performance with Susan would be a huge international story. Not only that, but she genuinely loves her. Like the rest of the world she thinks Sue’s story’s amazing.
Apparently not ‘amazing’ enough to resist putting her own shallow self-interest before true admiration.
JLS, Paolo Nutini and Robbie Williams are also set to perform, so this could be a real hoedown!
But if they really do this what are we all meant to call this odd pairing? Lady Susan,..Gaga-Boyle,…Susan Gaga ..or maybe ‘SuGa’….??
The floor is now open for votes…
[HMG] – Despite what must rank as one of the most turbulent, doom-laden romances in media history, Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder Civil now plan to re-marry. But there’s a snag…and her name’s Sarah Aspin.
Blake has been seeing the 31-year old former addict and mother-of-three for almost a year, behind Amy’s back. He’s even proposed and discussed the prospect of children while still planning a second wedding to Amy in St. Lucia next month.
The pair met last April in rehab, and were photographed together at a train station only last week. From there, Blake drove Amy to an apartment he purchased so they could be together in secret whenever they liked.
“We didn’t even make it to the bedroom – we made love in the living room as soon as we got in,” Sarah tells the UK’s News of the World. “I lay in his arms afterward and we discussed wedding plans. We’d get married on a tropical beach and honeymoon in Mexico.
But when Sarah read about Amy’s plans to re-marry Blake, she just lost it and confronted Blake.
“He told me, ‘I’m in love with you and it’s you I want to marry’,” says Sarah. “He said he wasn’t remarrying Amy, but I think he’s just playing us both and I’m ditching him.”
Although they’re [apparently] over, Sarah admits she fell for Blake hard, “When we met I said, ‘I’ve read about you’. After that we spent all our time together. He said he loved me – It felt old fashioned and romantic.” she recalls.
But romance was banned at the rehab and it was three months before they ’sealed the deal,’ so to speak. But they made up for lost time – meeting for sex every night for two months.
“We did it in different places,” says Sarah. “One night we did it in the dining room. At breakfast we giggled as we looked at the table…and someone was sitting there eating cornflakes.”
Blake soon felt the need to advance their connection, and floated the idea of marriage;
“One day we were talking about our future,” Sarah explains. “Then Blake just looked at me and said, ‘You are the only person I want to be with – will you marry me?’…It was very sudden, but I’d never met a man I felt so close to and I said yes.
As for Amy, Blake’s lame explanation was that they could never be together again as the drugs had ruined any chance they’d be happy.
Amy was never totally out of the picture. Sometimes she’d call him while I was there and I had to be quiet. They would ask how each other was and that would be it – He just wanted to get her off the phone.”
With no newspapers in rehab, Sarah had no clue Blake was giving press interviews, eagerly professing his love for Amy and how they planned to remarry At the same time as asking her to move into the apartment.
“Until last week we saw each other every two or three days. That’s why I can’t believe what he’s done – planned another wedding while trying to have a baby with me.” Sarah says with regret. “I just hope he isn’t giving Amy the same lines – She should get out before it’s too late.”
That sure sounds like a plan – Mr. Civil seems like one strange piece of work…
