As unbelievable as this may seem, Hollywoods hot media shy celebrity, Robert Pattinson, will be the sole presenter for Fridays Hope for Haiti telethon. Heres what E! News had to say:

I just got word that the Twilight star has signed on for Friday’s Hope for Haiti telethon. As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London with performances by Jay-Z and Bono.
No word yet on Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, but as I was the first to tell you Hollywood’s hottest vampire movie trio is a very wanted group for the telethon because of the impact they would have with young people.

Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo, has been cleared by doctors to return to their tour.

In case you dont remember, Rivers was injured in a tour bus accident that left him with a punctured lung. The band is set to perform at Florida State University on January 20. Rivers even took to his twitter page to let everyone know. Heres what he had to say:

“Doctor says my lung is all healed – cleared to fly to Florida for the show. Turns out I broke 5 ribs!!! RC.”

Hurray!

Lady Gaga’s latest smash hit, Bad Romance, has set the record for most weekly plays registered in Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay tally history. Last week, the song was played 10,859 times across the nation, knocking Leona Lewis out of her titled position (In 2008, Bleeding Love was played 10,665 times in one week.)

59 year old Jeff Conway from the musical Grease, fell down a staircase at his LA home. Jeff suffered a broken hip, a broken arm, a fractured neck and a severe brain hemorrhage. He is currently at an LA hospital where girlfriend Vikki Lizzi says he is on his way to surgery to repair his broken hip.

[HMG] – Despite an experience that would put most people off marriage for life, Sir Paul McCartney is said to be planning to be a husband again.

The 67-year former Beatle was seen at Sunday’s ‘Golden Globes’ with his current friend, New York socialite, Nancy Shevell. Friends say Paul has already proposed and they pair are now planning to wed.

They first met over twenty-years ago, but only started dating after Paul’s messy divorce from second-wife, Heather Mills. The pair also caused gossip when they were spied in the Hamptons in 2007 – when Nancy was still married to high-profile Attorney, Bruce Blakeman. But friends say that marriage had been unraveling for years.”

And Nancy has several things in her favor; She’s battled the same curse of breast cancer that claimed his first wife, Linda in 1998, she’s also a vegetarian – and she has her own cash.

“Nancy comes from a similar wealthy background to Linda, so it makes everyone happy that she’s clearly not after Paul’s money,” a close source told reporters.

So, if she’s got all that money…how come she’s wearing an omelet?

Paul’s 38-year old daughter, Stella [who hated Mills] is apparently a big fan of Ms. Shevell. Even Paul’s former band-mate Ringo Starr is known to approve.

“Paul’s very happy with Nancy,” a friend told the News. “They clicked from the moment they met. She’s the complete opposite of Mills and is only interested in Paul the person, not Paul the rich Beatle.”

Someone else who thinks Paul is just aces is Julia Roberts. She was seated next to him at the Globes, and it clearly had an effect; But when she was called up on stage she made the whole thing a joke…And unlike Gervais, she was funny;

“If you want attention, sit next to Paul McCartney,” she gushed. “I never had so many texts in my life!”

Insiders say that Chris Pine and Olivia Munn have NOT broken up at all but that “they are just having fun and being casual.”

Supposedly they were avoiding each other at an event on Friday night, but later that same night they were seen canoodling at the Buffalo Club CAA party in El Lay. An eyewitness describes:

“They remained inseparable during the night. Constantly whispering, holding hands and sharing a cup of hot mint tea.”

We know what “having fun and being casual” means!

They’re just screwing! But we think Chris can do SO much better!

It may only be temporary, but why bother?!

Due to a series of operations, Steven Tyler will be unable to tour with his band Aerosmith for at least a year! And for some unknown reason, they’re looking for a “fill in” until Tyler recovers.

Guitarist Joe Perry explains:

“We’re already getting the word out there. The word’s been out there for a while. We’ll start having some auditions, making some phone calls. Hopefully, we’ll have found a new singer by the summer, and Aerosmith will be able to go back out on the road.

From what I’ve heard, (Tyler) hasn’t left the band. As far as I’m concerned, he hasn’t left the band. He’s never said he was going to leave the band. It’s just that he wanted to go off and do some of his own things. He just never told anybody in the band about it. But his manager has told our manager that he wants to take some time off. And then lately he’s been saying he wants to come back.

But he has to have leg surgery and foot surgery and it’s basically going to take him out of the picture for about a year, year and a half. So, in the meantime, the rest of the band wants to play. We’re gonna find somebody to get in there and fill that spot. Just like when (bassist) Tom (Hamilton) was sick – we got David Hull to come in and play bass. When (guitarist) Brad (Whitford) was sick, we got somebody else to come in and play for him. That’s basically how I look at it; we need another singer to fill in.”

Who would want to see Aerosmith without Steven Tyler?!

Taylor Swift’s new single “Today Was A Fairytale” was just released at midnight and it has already knocked Ke$ha’s “TikTok” from it’s #1 spot on iTunes. Taylor’s new track will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie ‘Valentine’s Day’, which she also stars in.
