(HMG) – Accomplished music-video director Marc Webb has signed on to helm the new Spider-Man film, after the surprising departure of Evil Dead filmmaker Sam Raimi from the blockbuster superhero franchise.

Webb was behind one of 2009’s sleeper hits (500) Days Of Summer, which featured Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who will now likely be on the short list to become the young Spider-Man. The fourth installment will go back to the superhero’s high school years, and already has a script by James Vanderbilt – the screenwriter behind the 2007 hit Zodiac. It is due to begin shooting later this year, with a 2012 release date.

Webb’s background is in music videos and he previously directed promos for Green Day and The All-American Rejects. Webbs budget on (500) Days, was reportedly under $8 million, while Spider-Man 3 reportedly cost $258 million to make, so this is a huge step up and perhaps a big risk for Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, Webb also has options for two more Spider-Man sequels. The first three films – directed by Raimi – earned a combined $2.5bn at the international box office.

In a statement, Webb insisted he wasn’t taking over from Raimi as “that would be impossible, not to mention arrogant”.

“I’m here because there’s an opportunity for ideas, stories and histories that will add a new dimension, canvas and creative voice to Spider-Man,” he added.

In the video above, we see Heidi Montag, who wasn’t perfect until she decided to get a boob job and her nose refined. And, in my opinion, she looked perfectly fine after she did. But THEN Mrs Pratt went nuts. Yes ladies and gentlemen, she’s addicted to plastic surgery. Take a look at the following video and see the difference for yourselves:

(HMG) – Miranda Kerr poses basically nude in the February 2010 issue of GQ. This Aussie supermodel also was interviewed about topics such as driving a stick shift (”Automatic transmissions are for people who are lazy,” she says), her jailbird ex-boyfriend, her yappy little dog, turned down first modeling contract because she wanted to study nutrition, and whether Orlando Bloom ever feels lonely. Obviously Heidi Montag isnt ready for that step yet. On November 20 Heidi under went 10 procedures that included a mini brow lift, Botox in the forehead, nose job revision, fat injections in cheeks and lips, chin reduction, neck liposuction, ears pinned back, breast augmentation revision, liposuction on her waist and thighs and a buttocks augmentation.

During an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, Heidi says, “I’m not addicted. If I were addicted, I would have had 10 plastic surgeries.”

But then Heidi completely contradicts herself by telling People that she was “beyond obsessed” with getting work done to her body, and makes a distinction between having surgery and undergoing a procedure.

Make up your mind.

Alla Kournikova, mother of tennis star Anna Kournikova, decided she was going to be one of the most irresponsible parents ever and leave her 5 year old son Allan, home alone.

As a result of her stupidity, Allan, Annas half brother, allegedly told the cops he jumped out of a second story window because he was left alone with all the doors locked with a deadbolt while his mother ran some errands. Neighbors called 911 when they found Allan crying, screaming and bleeding on the sidewalk. Allan was hospitalized and Alla was arrested.

It doesnt take a genius to know that you shouldnt leave children home aloneand this is the exact reason why.

[HMG] – At the ripe age of 20, country star, Taylor Swift has already enjoyed such unbounded success she now says she’s ready to write her life story.

“It would be cool to write a book about all the crazy stuff and the insane things I got to do, she tells KBS. My life moves so fast I have to write it all down, otherwise I can’t remember where I was yesterday. I will write my autobiography for sure!”

Taylor tells the scribes she’s already penned a 350-page novel. Her own story [when / if it comes] could be the same size;

Her 2006 debut album went platinum in under six months, the sequel [released in November of 2008,] sold 2.2-million copies in barely six weeks, and she’s scored 24.5-million sales of downloaded songs.

All this rightly made her Billboard’s ‘Artist of the Year,’ with a net-worth estimated at $18-million…And she’s 20.

Next on Taylor’s frantic agenda is an appearance at the Grammy Awards at the end of the month. And she might just be arriving with her new love, John Mayer.

The pair were spied sharing a rather intimate dinner at a Santa Monica restaurant on January 6th. And those close to the musical twosome say the rare spark they encountered on their first meeting is why Swift ditched Taylor Lautner with such uncultured speed.

Romance aside, Ms. Swift’s short-term agenda also includes an appearance at the Grammy Awards, where she’s not only due to perform but has also been nominated for no less than eight separate awards — ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Best Country Album’ for her 2008 CD, ‘Fearless. Then there’s ‘Best Pop Female Performance,’ ‘Record of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ for “You Belong With Me.”

And let’s not forget, ‘Best Pop Collaboration’, Best Country Song’ and ‘Best Female Vocal Performance’ for “White Horse.”
