(HMG) – The father of American figure skating icon Nancy Kerrigan , Daniel Kerrigan died Sunday after being taken by emergency personnel from his family home in Stoneham, Massachusetts, to a hospital, authorities said. It now looks like a domestic dispute is at the heart of the death. Nancy’s brother Mark, 45, is accused of assaulting his 70-year-old father in the Boston suburb of Stoneham where he had been living with his parents. He was arraigned Monday and pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from an alleged assault.

Daniel Kerrigan, died after what authorities said was a violent struggle with his son in their home. According to Middlesex County Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Keeley, Mark Kerrigan told authorities “that he did in fact have an argument with his father, the argument became physical, he grabbed his father around the neck, and at some point the father collapsed to the floor.” According to Keeley, police found Mark in the basement of the house, “clearly intoxicated,” cussing and “extremely combative.” He refused to comply with police officers, said Keeley, and they had to subdue him with pepper spray before forcibly removing him from the home. police say they found a bottle of Dewars Scotch whiskey near by. Mark Kerrigan, has a history of domestic violence arrests and was sued by his parents to recover money they had given him.

Jumping on the bandwagon of revamping the classics and shoving them in our faces, sources are saying that the folks behind Gremlins are looking to make a third flick in the franchise and put it in 3D. The source claims that the project is in very early development, so there are no names attached for either writer, director, or star.

But the idea is in motion. Soon, there could be creepy little furballs attacking your face in movie theaters around the country.

Daniel Kerrigan, father of Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, was found dead Sunday morning. Emergency crews were sent to the home Sunday morning where they found Nancy’s father unresponsive. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Mark Kerrigan, the son of the deceased, is in police custody was arrested and charged with assault and battery on an elder with serious bodily injury.

“He (Mark Kerrigan) stated that he wanted to use the phone and his father would not let him,” according to a Stoneham police report filed in court. He said that he struggled with his father and put his hands around his father neck and his father fell to the floor. He said that his father was faking it.”

WTF!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kerrigan family in this difficult time.

Daniel was 70 years old.

According to E! Online, Jennifer Aniston has made a huge donation to three organizations for relief efforts in Haiti. Jennifer has given $500,000 to Doctors Without Borders, Partners In Health and AmeriCares.

She also donated her time by answering phones at Friday’s Hope For Haiti telethon.

I’m trying to figure out if they mean $500,000 to each of those organizations or $500,000 split between the three? Either way – it’s a lot of money!

It would be especially history making as it would be the first all-digital album to hit number one!

The numbers are expected to easily reach over $100K but it’s uncertain by how much.

In the midst of rumors of breaking up, a source close to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is confirming quite the opposite. The source says that the couple is so happy, they are looking to the future – their very fashionable future. The source says:

“Angelina and Brad are still very much together. Theyre even in the process of planning out their Oscar outfits. Brad wanted to make sure he didnt clash with Angelina, whos putting some serious thought into her choices. They are still a couple.

How sweet! A couple that plans outfits together doesn’t sound like one that is on the rocks to us!

‘True Blood’ hunks Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) and Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse) dished about all things nudity. The two chat about who has done the most nude scenes, how they stay in shape and what to expect in Season 3.

Sam Trammell says that it’s a close race for the title of who’s had the most on-screen time in the buff:

We joke about it and who has the record for the most disrobes, says Trammell, I think Ryan does. But Im close behind him at this point because Ive already disrobed like four or five times this year and I dont think he has at all. Ive got to fight that out with him.

Sam says that Ryan is the most comfortable with it:

Ryan is definitely ready to show up and flaunt it, because hes got the bod to back it up. Hes probably the least bashful.

He says that the ladies are shy, but get over it quickly:

Some of the ladies are kind of shy sometimes Pretty much the process is: Youre shy, you take off your clothes once and then its done.

Not too many of the cast members have snuck by without having to do a nude scene, have they?

Sam says that there is a lot of temptation on set – in the way of food. No exercise equipment, but plenty of treats:

[Working out is] up to us, he says. Theyve got the cookies out.

Taylor Lautner was spotted at the AFC Championship game last night, rooting for the Indianapolis Colts, which seemed to work, since now they are on their way to the Super Bowl.
