(HMG) – New Line Cinema is working on a big screen adaption of the classic animation character Speedy Gonzalez the hyperactive Warner Brothers rodent who calls himself the fastest mouse in all Mexico. Comedian, actor, talk show host George Lopez who provided the main voice in 2008s Beverly Hills, Chihuahuais is getting back into the voice acting game as the title character, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In an interview with the Heat Vision blog of The Hollywood Reporter, George’s wife and producer, Anne Lopez said that this Speedy Gonzales film, will avoid outdated depictions of the cartoon character, who made his debut in the 1953 short Cat-Tails for Two.

We wanted to make sure that it was not the Speedy of the 1950s, the racist Speedy, Ms Lopez told The Hollywood Reporter. In the new movie, she said, Speedy comes from a family that works in a very meticulous setting, and hes a little too fast for what they do.

Garfield writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen will be adapting the Looney Tunes character into a live-action/CG hybrid feature. Speedy first appeared in the 1950s as a regular nemesis to Sylvester the Cat and has since appeared in several feature films including Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Space Jam, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action.

[HMG] – For those of you to whom the merest glimpse of Mary-Kate Olsen is a seismic event, we have some good news She and her boyfriend have split up for good.

Now 23, the actress, producer, fashion maven and upcoming media mogul has called it quits in her short-lived connection with boyfriend, Nate Lowman, according to Us.

And the split has since been confirmed by her reps.

Introduced by mutual friends, the pair began dating in 2008. Last year, rumors emerged that they were getting engaged but those were shot down in flames by the same reps who now say the whole deal is over.

In October we also reported that Nate was being pressured by both Mary-Kate and her sister to sign a pre-nup before any marriage. Could the lack of that form be the reason he’s gone?

It’s not known how Nate’s taking the news, but Mary Kate’s currently keeping busy by scouring the shows at London’s Fashion Week. If she finds inspiration it may even help the sagging sales of her clothing at Wal Mart.

But don’t feel sad for her, guys At 17, Mary Kate and her sister had a net worth of $150-million – each. Experts then predicted their production company, ‘Dualstar,’ plus the clothes, DVD’s, TV re-runs and other cash-cows would make them both billionaires by age 21.

Mary Kate turned 23 last June 13. And for someone so clearly in love with her money, who needs a guy?

Well, apparently, our incredible Perezilcious readers have seen him out and about and sent us these PHENOMENAL pictures of (Wo)Man working the streets of El Lay. Some saw him working the corners of West Hollywood on Halloween, while others caught a glimpse of his coin slot while driving in Beverly Hills.

The man can wear a G-String like no other we’ve seen!!! And how the hell is he able to hold everything in with what appears to be a long strip of masking tape???

Maryland’s Attorney General announced this morning that the state would, from here on out, recognize same-sex marriages performed elsewhere and that all Maryland agencies should begin “affording out-of-state gay couples all the rights they have been awarded in other places. “

Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler firmly stated: “State agencies in Maryland will recognize out-of-state gay marriages as of right now.”

Yes! Thank you Maryland for lending a hand to cause!

After the difficult but inspiring profile written about him in the latest issue of Esquire, revered film critic Roger Ebert will be sitting down for his first televised interview since he lost his ability to speak.

With the aid of a text-to-speech computer program and his own make-shift sign language, Roger will sit down with Oprah Winfrey next week for what is sure to be an amazing interview.

We’ll definitely be tuning in for that!

Jon Voight is quite happy to be spending time with his grandchildren. As we told you the other day, he was on holiday in Venice with Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their six children.

He spoke a little about the trip:

“It’s nice to have something that’s positive!” Voight told Us “lovely…the weather wasn’t so bad for the journey. It’s a very beautiful trip. A lot of fun.”

Then he talked about Shiloh resembling baby pictures he has. Not sure if he means of himself or maybe of Angelina as a baby?

“I have baby pictures that are very resembling of Shiloh,” he noted. “I don’t know about all the resemblances, but obviously there are some because of the genes.”

He hopes to spend more time with them:

“I love the possibility of spending time with the family. It’s a very beautiful thing.”

When he was asked if Angelina and Brad were doing fine, he said:

“Of course they are! You can see!”

I’m sure Jon will be careful what he shares with the press so he doesn’t put any further strain his relationship with Angelina.
