(HMG) - When the person who found the late Andrew Koenig and alerted the other searchers via cell phone, it was the father,Walter Koenig who came to what was described as a “grisly” scene to identify his son. A source who was close to the investigation tells E! News that the 41-year-old actor’s body was found Thursday in Vancouver’s Stanley Park hanging from a tree. Koenig was discovered on one of dozens of trails in the 1,000-acre area, in a densely wooded area of native pines and brush, so deep into the forest off Stanley Park’s Bridle Path, that it appeared to the search party that “Andrew didn’t want to be found,” the source tells E! New. Koenig was first reported missing on Feb. 16 when he missed his flight home to Los Angeles. He was last seen on Feb. 14 at a friend’s house in Vancouver. Funeral plans for Andrew have not been released yet. His parents did, however, release the following statement on Friday:
“Andrew was a man who cared deeply about others, and who acted on his conscience ,working on a grass roots level to help those in need…To honor him and his life, we are suggesting people donate in Andrew’s memory to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or U.S. Campaign for Burma.”
(HMG) – Sad news of another depression related suicide. Marie Osmond’s adopted teenaged son, Michael Blosil, 18, has killed himself by leaping to his death from his Los Angeles apartment at around 9 p.m. Friday in Los Angeles. In 2007, Michael, then 16, entered a rehab facility. According to ET, Michael left a note explaining he intended to end his life after a lengthy battle with severe depression that left him, he said, feeling as if he had no friends and could never fit in. Contacted by phone this morning, Donny Osmond told ET: Please pray for my sister and her family, the site reported.
In a statement, Marie said: ‘My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.’
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Osmond family.
R.I.P. Michael Blosil!

Rapper Juvenile needs to keep his smokey-smokey a lil’ more well concealed!
The 34-year-old Slow Motion rapper was arrested in New Orleans on Thursday after cops found pot which he fessed up to possessing!
A narc-y neighbor called the police when he smelled marijuana smoke coming from the house Juvenile was recording music in.
Hmmm!
Police were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence and came across a bag of weed in a kitchen drawer.
The rapper was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession and was released on bond later that night.
Way to harsh that mellow!

Reports now say former Growing Pains actor Andrew Koenig was found hanged from a tree when his lifeless body was discovered in Stanley Park on Thursday.
Sources close to Koenig say the actor “didn’t want to be found” and the 11-person search party composed of Andrew’s family and friends “dreaded” what they were going to find in the park.
Andrew’s mother and father have asked for people to donate to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or U.S. Campaign for Burma in Andrew’s honor because Koenig was a man who “cared deeply about others… working on a grass roots level to help those in need.”
It’s still so sad.
Our thoughts continue to stay with the Koenigs.

Bret Michaels took some heat earlier this week when his song with Miley Cyrus, ‘Nothin’ To Lose,’ went online Thursday. Here are the lyrics that have some people upset:
“We both know better than this/Still we can’t resist/Slowly get undressed.”
In the sensual chorus, they sing together: “Won’t you fall down on me/So close I can feel you breathe.”
Here’s what Bret told Us Weekly after he received “about 75 texts” about the song:
“I was like, ‘What the f*ck is going on?’ Everyone’s going nuts! It’s blown out of proportion.”
Bret said he wrote and recorded the song a couple of years ago, and it was Miley who approached him about remaking the song for her upcoming album.
So what about the “slowly get undressed” bit?
“I never sat down and said, ‘Look at the content. Look at the lyrical content,’” Michaels admits. In his defense, he adds that “the part where it says she slowly gets undressed, Miley says, ‘Yeah she does.’ It has no reference to her and I. It’s not even a duet.
“As God is my witness, there is nothing I have to be defensive about,” he says. “I’m a good Dad [to two daughters]. I just thought it was a beautiful song. “
Do you think it was inappropriate or has this whole thing been blown waaay out of proportion?
I have to admit, I’m not sure if this uproar would’ve occurred if it weren’t Miley, but I also have to wonder: haven’t her advisers learned to look out for these things by now?
